In the mid to late 70's I worked at WTOG-TV Channel 44. At that time owned by Hubbard Broadcasting, WTOG was one of the top independent stations in the country and was carried by cable systems all over the state. WTOG did a good job at marketing their name. As those of us who drove company production trucks around the Bay area we were often greeted by passers-by holding up four fingers on each hand made famous by the "All Watching" ID above. The slogan "WTOG.... as far as the eye can see" was also well known. These themes were mostly created by a Station ID package in the mid 1970's. Scenes for the station ID packages were from all over the Tampa Bay area as it looked then. When I left the station I made a copy of that ID package that I am pleased to present above in streaming video format.
