755 kbps Windows Media On-demand Streaming Video Demonstrations

To keep the comparison uniform, we are going to keep the display of all but the dial-up bitrate at 1102 x 620. However, this version was encoded at 755 kbps and at a smaller screen size of 480 x 270. At 755 kbps, we are moving into the higer end of commonly used encoding bitrates. With Windows Media 11 Player and the associated codecs we have a good quality display of the "Fighter Pilot" segment and at the same time use less bandwidth and are compatible with a larger number of broadband Internet connections. At 755 kbps, we can still present a good full-screen display as well. Use your "Esc" key to exit the full-screen mode. FULL-SCREEN MODE

Next, we will step down to 539 kbps to achieve further streaming economy while still preserving a substantial amount of the original resolution of the video.
