331 kbps SilverLight On-demand Streaming Video Demonstrations
(Featuring the SilverLight Expression Player Skin)

This is the 331 kbps "Fighter Pilot" segment displayed in the Expression SilverLight skin. We used Microsoft's Expression Encoder to not only encode the video, but to select the player skin from a number of available templates and also to create the web page html and associated files. A 180-day fully functional evaluation copy of Expression Encoder can be downloaded here. You can also create your own skins or edit the supplied Expression templates with Expression Blend 2. These are all part of the Expression Studio family of products. Also, you can play regular live and on-demand Windows Media streams and local files inside a SilverLight web page. Unlike embedding Windows Media Player, SilverLight is compatible across platforms (including Mac and Linux) and browsers while streaming from conventional Windows Media Server live and on-demand sources.

331 kbps represents the best streaming economy while still providing a viewable stream. If you do not see video or the video is pausing or skipping you may need to check your bandwidth on our Bandwidth test page.
